Terms of service
Effective 3 September 2026 · replaces the version dated 12 July 2022
These are the terms on which we provide iPACT. They are written to be read, so the parts that cost you money or limit what you can claim are in plain words rather than buried.
1Agreeing to these terms
By subscribing to iPACT or using it, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2What iPACT is
iPACT is a cloud service for Australia Post delivery contractors: onboarding, licence and work rights checks, vehicle inspections, incidents and hazards, toolbox talks, time reports, invoicing and pay runs, and reporting across the operation. It is available in a browser and as a mobile app.
iPACT helps you meet record-keeping and compliance obligations. It does not guarantee compliance outcomes, and it is not legal, tax or industrial relations advice. You remain responsible for your obligations as a contractor and as a principal.
3Your account
Keep your login credentials secure and do not share them. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@ipact.com.au if you think an account has been compromised.
You control who in your operation has access and at what level. Removing someone's access is your responsibility.
4Your data and your drivers' data
The records you put into iPACT remain yours. We hold and process them to provide the service, on your instructions, as described in our privacy policy.
You are responsible for having a proper basis to collect and hold the personal information you put into iPACT about your drivers and subcontractors, for telling them how it will be used, and for the accuracy of what you enter.
You can export your records at any time as PDF, CSV or Excel, including after you cancel, for as long as your account remains accessible.
5Subscription and fees
iPACT is $10 per active driver, per month, in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. Every feature is included; there are no tiers.
Your driver limit is set by you in the app and can be changed up or down at any time. Billing follows the limit you set. There is no lock-in contract and no minimum term.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor.
If you enable invoice fees, the amount you set is applied as a deduction on the driver's RCTI and is a matter between you and your driver. We do not set it and do not receive it.
6Changing the price
We may change the subscription price. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a change takes effect, and you may cancel before it does.
714-day money-back guarantee
If iPACT is not what you expected, email support@ipact.com.au within 14 days of your first subscription payment and we will refund everything you have paid, in full.
You do not need to give a reason and there is no form to fill in. We will process the refund to the payment method you used, within 14 days of your request.
This guarantee is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing in it limits those rights.
8Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, in the app or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. Outside the 14-day guarantee in clause 7, we do not refund part-months.
9Using the service properly
Do not use iPACT to break the law, to store material you have no right to store, to attack or probe the service, to resell it without our agreement, or to reverse engineer it. Do not use it to hold personal information about people who have no connection to your delivery operation.
10Availability
We aim to keep iPACT available at all times, and we will give reasonable notice of planned maintenance where we can. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we are not responsible for outages caused by your internet connection, your device, or events outside our reasonable control.
11Our intellectual property
iPACT, its software, design and documentation belong to us. These terms give you a right to use the service while you are subscribed, and nothing more. Your data is not covered by this clause; see clause 4.
12Suspending or ending your access
We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, if payment fails and stays unpaid after we have asked, or if we must do so by law. Except in urgent cases we will tell you first and give you a reasonable chance to fix it. If we end your account we will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your records.
13Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will give at least 30 days' notice of a material change by email or in the app, and the effective date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use iPACT after that means you accept the new terms.
14Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees, and if any part of these terms tried to, that part does not apply.
Where we are permitted to limit our liability for failing to comply with a consumer guarantee, we limit it to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
15Liability
Subject to clause 14, and to the extent the law allows:
- Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue or anticipated savings.
- Our total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in that period.
Nothing in this clause limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
16Indemnity
You indemnify us against claims brought by a third party arising from your use of iPACT in breach of these terms, or from personal information you put into iPACT without a proper basis to do so. This does not apply to the extent the claim is caused by our own breach or negligence.
17If we disagree
Contact us first at support@ipact.com.au and set out what is wrong and what you want done. Most things are resolved this way. If we have not resolved it within 30 days, either of us may take it further.
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and both of us submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts able to hear appeals from them.
18General
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent; we may transfer ours to a buyer of the business. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about iPACT.
